The film has some intense moments, like when the brothers face off over their father’s past crimes. But watching them tell stories of DiBiase’s ‘glory’ years (in terms of the extravagant lifestyle not the way we might define it in Christian terms) or share how DiBiase’s conversion to Christianity impacted them, it’s hard not to see that these men all lived in the same light and shadows life, and understand the difference in the before-and-after versions of DiBiase’s character. I know next-to-nothing about characters like Lex Luger, Rowdy Rowdy Piper, Terry Funk, Jim Duggan, and Jake Roberts, who played a role in the world of wrestling and now speak on screen about DiBiase. It’s a troubled tale of pursuing fame and fortune, but it’s ultimately redemptive as we see the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ as it impacted Melanie and DiBiase, as well as their children and friends.
